• JEWELRY REPLACEMETS

We handle the replacement of lost, stolen or damaged items of insured jewelry. Shnayder Jewelry interfaces directly with insurance companies nationwide. Our goal is not only to replace your jewelry, but also to handle your claim sensitively, quickly and with as little inconvenience to you as possible.
Our nationwide network allows immediate access to a large inventory, to make your selection process easier. In addition, the inventory is supplemented by our national computer network which provides us access to one of the country's largest loose diamond inventories.
Unfortunately, there will be occasions when exact duplicates are not possible, especially if the lost item is an antique or custom-made piece. In these cases, we can work closely with our jewelry designer Joseph Shnayder to make a very close design of your original jewelry.
If you have experienced a jewelry loss and have submitted an insurance claim for replacement, you should contact our helpful and professional claims specialists for information and assistance with the expeditious replacement of your quality jewelry item or heirloom piece.
Over the years, Shnayder Jewelry has streamlined its replacement process to facilitate the quick and convenient handling of your claim. Once the replacement process begins you can expect us to follow these steps below.

    THE REPLACEMENT PROCESS

    1. First, we will review all available information such as appraisals, photographs and receipts to make sure we have a complete description of your lost jewelry. This will involve direct telephone contact with the adjuster and quite possibly you.

    2. Once the adjuster has approved replacement we will arrange a meeting with you. Our meeting together will involve selection of suitable replacement items including replicating a piece via custom design. Also, quite often your adjuster will allow you to select jewelry which is different from the original(s), providing it is of comparable value.

    3. Once you are satisfied with your replacement, we will ask you to validate a release form which in turn will be sent to your insurance company as notification that the claim has been completed.

    4. A follow-up questionnaire will be sent to you for evaluation of our entire replacement procedure.
